 Quick & Tasty Beef & Cabbage Bread Rolls 





Ingredients:

1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed

1 lb ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cups cabbage, shredded

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Optional: melted butter for brushing


Instructions:

Cook the Filling:

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the shredded cabbage and cook until wilted, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.


Prepare the Dough:

On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed bread dough into a rectangle about ¼ inch thick.

Cut the dough into squares, about 4x4 inches.


Fill and Roll:

Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cabbage mixture onto each dough square.

Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal well, and form into small rolls. Place on a lined baking sheet.


Bake:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Brush with melted butter, if desired and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.


Serve:

Let the rolls cool for a few minutes and enjoy warm.

Tips:

Sprinkle with cheese for added flavor.

Replace sausage with pork sausage or ground turkey for different taste.
